We are a no-kill shelter, rescuing and re-homing abandoned dogs from death row in Sydney's pounds. Monika's Doggie Rescue is a registered charity that believes in saving and re-homing as many dogs as we can from the council pounds. For many years Monika Biernacki and a group of volunteers have been rescuing dogs from death row and successfully re-homing them with permanent and loving owners. In 2001 the charity DoggieRescue was established. Many of the dogs we take are small dogs and puppies but we also take as many bigger dogs as we have carers for. Most of the dogs we rescue are cross breeds but from time to time we have pure breed dogs. We are Sydney based and do not do interstate adoption.

  • Age: 8 years
  • Storm is a mature lady with an affectionate manner. She tolerates the company of children but does not seek it out. She is relaxed and friendly and easy to handle. She is gentle girl but strong on lead. She has just undergone entropian surgery on her eyes to stop the irritation. On lead she pulls a little and is friendly walking past other dogs. She loves being patted and will sit on command. She is looking for some pampering in her twilight years.She comes desexed C5 vaccinated heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet. Her adoption cost is $450.
