We are a no-kill shelter, rescuing and re-homing abandoned dogs from death row in Sydney's pounds. Monika's Doggie Rescue is a registered charity that believes in saving and re-homing as many dogs as we can from the council pounds. For many years Monika Biernacki and a group of volunteers have been rescuing dogs from death row and successfully re-homing them with permanent and loving owners. In 2001 the charity DoggieRescue was established. Many of the dogs we take are small dogs and puppies but we also take as many bigger dogs as we have carers for. Most of the dogs we rescue are cross breeds but from time to time we have pure breed dogs. We are Sydney based and do not do interstate adoption.

  • Lorenzo is a very lovable affectionate staffy. He is strong on lead and very energetic but calms down on a walk quickly. He has good dog social skills. He would suit a family with teenage kids. He has an inquisitive nature and he goes up to other dogs in a friendly curious manner. Lorenzo would suit a sporty family wanting a dog to run or jog with. He has a smooth coat and weighs 29.3kg.He comes desexed C5 vaccinated heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet. His adoption cost is $400.
